Sam phone me a few days ago. Seemed to be doing fine. Did not mention any current problem with his health. When we ended the conversation, he said it was time to eat. Heard Mrs. B. in the background say dinner was ready.

Sako, thanks for being concerned and now an update:
Yes, I have been seriously ill again with my liver this time. About 6 weeks ago (when I left the political forum) I was getting ill, off my feed and grouchy. My wife said that I was turning yellow. I made an appointment with my cancer doctor and she advised my to go to the physician that did my cancer probes and see what was going on. She did say that my cancer numbers were great so that was a relief. The other physician said that he was making a referral to another specialist who would do a scope down into me from the other end to have a look see, apparently from my cat scan my common bile duct was closing off! The other specialist used a laser to cut away the scar tissue and installed a stint just in case. I also had an infection and took meds for this.
All of my tests came back excellent EXCEPT for one of my cat scans which indicated a growth of some kind on my left hip, so I was scheduled this past Monday for a complete body CAT scan. Got the test results back yesterday, NO INDICATION OF CANCER ANYWHERE OBSERVED. Apparently the growth is a calcium deposit similar to what was found on my lower spine, typical for a man of my age (69) to have. I was told to lose some weight and I have set a goal of losing 80 lbs over the next year. So far I have lost 20 lbs of it...not bad.
The house build is coming along nicely, have decided on the interior kitchen dimensions of 18"x18"x12". Our local big box appliance store is having a sale over the Labor Day holiday and we are buying new Whirlpool stainless steel appliances for it. Our current appliances will be moved into the kitchen as well. I will have two stoves (one propane the other electric), two fridges and two freezers.

This is my outdoor kitchen that I am going to enclose for year round use. It is going to be insulated and a small wood burning stove will be installed in the corner along with my Mr. Heater as a backup heat source. The upper opening seen in the picture will have large bay windows installed for a nice view as I am cooking. I have a small fridge to put out there, along with a table to eat off of.
My greenhouse is doing well and is starting to pay as I have turned it into a business that I can comfortable run. I will be producing 800 heads of various lettuce per month along with a mound of heirloom tomatoes.
I will be stopping by time to time, except for the political forum. The world is crazy enough with what is going on regardless of who get's elected and for my own physical health I avoid the world. I made peace with the world, if it can't do the same there is nothing I can do about it. During the winter months I am hoping to get about 25,000 rds of various ammo loaded, but I doubt that I can find the time. In addition to all that I am doing we are bringing in wood for this winter from my Amish friends sawmill. I can haul 1/2 chord per trip and we want 20-25 cords before Thanksgiving. We will have 5 wood stoves to feed and will need the wood.
Cheers to all!:hello:

Glad to hear things are going well. It seems you have several full time jobs, one is keeping the medical field busy.

I am sure glad my family knows what is going on, I haven't a clue! I am looking forward to this winter.
