May be old news for some of you but since Remington was broken up by the bankruptcy courts and sold off Marlin was picked up by Ruger.
Hopefully someone will pick up the Remington brand and carry on too.

Remington brand was bought by another investment groups IIRC
Vista bought Remington Ammo. The Roundhill Group LLC(who they are is unknown) bought the manufacturing facility, along with its barrel-making plant, in Ilion, New York. Ruger bought Marlin.
We're back to nobody knows who owns what.

Look at it positively. If investors purchsed facilities such as the manufacturing plant, then presumably they will commence production at some point, probably after the COVID pandemic is under control. I found this article on the Roundhill Group: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/roundhill-group-wants-to-make-remington-great-again/

My first gun was a Remington Nylon 66 (no serial #). I still have it along with the plain white box it came in. A few years back I saw one of these empty boxes sell on ebay for over $150.
Since then I've acquired another 66, a 870 express, a 700 in 30/06 (stainless), a UMC Remington 1911 (WW-1), a 1187 with a burl stock and stainless receiver and a 1891 mosin nagant made for Russia and stamped Remington Armory.
