View Full Version : Interesting article about the over population of python's in FL
Snakes on a plate! Up to 300,000 monster pythons are laying waste to Florida's wildlife. The state's solution? Start eating them. But, asks TOM LEONARD, will U.S. diners really get a taste for hiss and chips?
Scientists believe 99 per cent of furry critters in the Everglades have been eaten by pythons.

Up north here, we don't have a python plaque. Our frigid winters will kill them off. But a lot of people here have them as 'pets'. I have seen them outside with their rather huge reptiles and I bet their neighbors with dogs, cats and children are worrying about those snakes getting loose!
No interest in snake on the plate. But, looks like a really good business opportunity. Catch/kill and skin them. Hides are sure to be in demand same as alligator hides for boots, belts, jackets, etc., etc. Sincerely. bruce.
My map of the world. Well you can't really see it but there's a line from San Diego that goes through Tucson and eastward. We build a big wall along the line.
