OK, these are Henry Chan 9 hole review tests of these two current issue "designated Marksman" rifles out to 800 yards. The M21 clone was put together for Chan out of parts he acquired over a period of 10 years and was put together by Ken Corchran who built M21s for the U.S Army Marksmanship Unit. Total cost - about $6,000.00. Chan has a separate video on the rifle's accuracy and the build if you want to watch it. Using Israeli Match ammunition he shoots 9 shot groups regularly under 1 moa with .8 moa being his average. The SVD is a CHICOM clone in 7.62x51 (a failed CHICOM marketing ploy) The rifle shoots about 1.8 moa 9 shot groups with Chan behind it if the barrel hasn't heated up too much. Groups are shot with a range bag simulating a sandbag or similar rest so old Henry can shoot. There is also a separate video of the Druganov on the range with an interesting tutorial on barrel twists and ammo. The course is steel targets to 800 yards. Both guns are money until they get out to about 700 yards.

I admit to having become a bit of a Henry Chan "fan boy." I can, however, stand to do without the Henry Chan "Sit Com" which I had to put up with again in the Druganov video. Chan can be a funny guy but he needs to leave out the scripts, IMHO.

So here's the "gun porn:"

Just a quick PS. The Druganov video has a tutorial on the rifling twist/bullet design variations on these rifles.
