it's not uncommon,

lots of Glocks are done up in silly paint jobs,

Paint jobs are one thing, including orange painted muzzles to diguise them as Airsoft. (Defeats the whole purpose of that legislation and is exactly why so many other governments nixed the proposals)
Being refitted into a Nerf product ,so convincingly, is several steps beyond that. Pity the cop who either falls for the bluff, or mistakenly doesn't during those crucial micro seconds. He's either dead or guilty unless luck is on his side.

cannot remember the name of the company, but they make attachments, for lack of a better term, you can stick you pistol in that take a brace,

Gotcha. So it is just a paint job. Pretty damned good one if you ask me. Tough call to make for a cop just the same.
