I bought to transport my M1 garand.

The fleecy interior was a dingy tan, with rust and grease.

So , I went to the utility sink and ran water over a bar of Ivory soap and lightly scrubbed the brush with lather, then applied to the casr lining.
Worked my way to the end and hosed of the soapsuds and it was WHITE.

Hung out to drip/dry and soak of the sun, took into garage to drip overnight and now lounging on the deck [flat].

The vinyl will get "The Tannery" applied to its surface.

My question is: use "scotch-guard on the interior fleece or silicone spray and let dry?

What say ye brethren.

not sure what is in 'Scotch Guard', would have to look and study before use,

silicone won't hurt a thing

3M Scotch Guard

would need to look at the MSDS and see if it would harm a firearms finish (for the interior of the case)
