View Full Version : Fighting Knives Book Question
What are the best books on U.S. fighting knives?
I think Cole's is the go to book, at least on fighting knives,

For WWII knives I would recommend "U.S. and Allied Military Knives World War II" Vol. I and Vol. II by Bill Walters. Vol., I (197 pages) covers the M3 trench knife and the M4 bayonet. Vol. II (697 pages) covers all the fighting knives and utility knives. Both have great color photos and descriptions of all the variations and even tells you which makers sheath or scabbard is correct for a particular knife or bayonet. They are not cheap, though.
