Pharma executive is murdered by robber who followed him home after watching him win $10k at casino and then shooting him dead as his wife and kids slept upstairs

Sree Aravapalli, 54, was shot multiple times inside his Plainsboro, New Jersey home in the early hours of Tuesday during an attempted robbery

Police said that Jekai Reid-John, 27, followed him for 50 miles to his home after he spotted him winning $10,000 at Parx Casino just outside of Philadelphia

When Aravapallin arrived home Reid-John broke through a back sliding door and shot and killed him while his daughter and wife were asleep upstairs

This story reminds me of a ?somewhat? similar story . . . .

Many years ago, in Norwalk, Connecticut, a burglary of firearms took place.
Seems a couple of scum-bags spotted a car with an NRA decal in the window.
They figured the owner had guns at home, so they followed the car until it pulled into the driveway of a residence.
Short while later, they burgled the home.
They were later caught.

Because of this story, I do NOT display anything on my vehicle that indicates my firearm interest!

A buddy got his car broke into at the Gun Show. He had an NRA sticker on it. He did lose a gun. No more sticker after that.

Being followed and robbed when a bad guy knows you have a bunch of cash is nothing new. You just have to be real careful and hope for the best.

I think not advertising you have anything that's in demand in today's environment is a very good thing, whether its bullets, beans or cash. Stuff is getting scarcer and more valuable. I bought a really nice three rib roast on sale for around $50.00 about a year ago that I have vacuum sealed in my freezer. I'd been saving it for a special occasion, but I'm thinking of advertising it on e-bay if the cost of quality beef gets much higher around here :icon_lol:.
