Neat story about preparing for the future. Today our leaders/scientists are dumping petroleum and they have no more knowledge what 200 years from now we will be using for power or transportation than the scientists did when they planted the trees.

Very interesting. I have read that in some cases, the British built ships out of teak from their colonies because there wasn't enough oak available.
