I have a few Federal 30-06 cases marked ?HE? in the head stamp.
Can someone tell me what ?HE? signifies?

High Energy. Not for use in semi-autos, particularly the BAR in magnum chamberings. Now Hornady's Superformance are o.k. in anything.
