What protectant to use on the leather? Silicone oil, neatsfoot?

Bought two of the serbo-croat ammo cartridge holders (VZ-24 8MM rifle) and want to put leather protectant on them, what to use.

After trying just about everything I settled on Pecard's Antique Leather Dressing. No Neatsfoot Oil or Silicone.

Obenauf's is suppose to be good, just haven't tried it yet.

When using Pecards don't put the leather in the sun or near heat, as it breaks the Pecards down. Let the leather Pecards work for a couple of weeks before applying more.

I agree with Johnny. I used it on some slings I acquired and it worked miracles. i purchased the one listed as "antique."
