L.Q. Jones veteran character actor whose career spanned over 50 years has died at 94.
Born Justice McQueen in Beaumont, Texas; he adopted his stage name from that of his character in the movie "Battle Cry." Among his better known movies were "The Young Lions," "Warlock," "Major Dundee," "Casino," "The Wild Bunch," "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid," and, for you Chuck Norris fans - "Lone Wolf McQuade." He also did beaucoup television.
He was a Navy veteran. Pre acting he worked at jobs from stand up comic to cattle rancher.
