A pretty nice match-preped McCoy rifle on Gunbroker. This is not my auction, but in all honesty, I do know the fellow selling it, and have seen the rifle. It is very nice, and were I in the market for something like this, it would not have gotten on Gunbroker......

I'd love to have a McCoy M1. I've seen a guy that's pretty local to me do a lot of winning at the National Matches Long Range Phase with one that he has.

So is $1825 a fair price for this gun? If you got all the parts and had it professionaly built, what would it cost?

About 1 Large more than that price, at least back when .30 cals. ran things. For a McCoy .308 and assuming a Kreiger or Obermeyer barrel...it's a good price. BTW...you just don't get more "professional" with a Garand than Don McCoy!
