I have a couple of British military steel helmets. A Mk I and a Mk II. The headband part of the suspension of both is very similar and appears to have no method for adjusting size at all. Both of the ones I have appear that they would probably fit a 10 year old boy.
If there is a way to adjust these I'l like to know about it. I didn't get them to wear so that isn't the issue. I just have trouble comprehending that the Brits would build all these helmets with no provision to adjust the suspension, which by the way is attached by a rivet to the crown of the helmet.
