Very clever but speaking as a one time transportation engineer, I consider it to be a major distraction and hence not safe. Amusing though and very effective marketing.

Distraction and effective seldom mix. I guess this why we don't see more creativity like this.

Here is one from Tokyo a year ago. At least there isn't much auto traffic in the area. The original film footage was very long showing the cat playing, laying down, getting up and napping.

It's easy to be creative when you have tools like Photoshop etc.
Kinda like painting by numbers.
It's far harder when you don't.
I was in the Ad Agency business for 45 years.
An ad I remember before photoshop was for an Oil Company
(Can't recall who) Out of an oil can came small cars, scores of them.
They ran down the sides of the can and across the table top.
I saw it once only, never again. Fantastic ad. Couldn't figure how it was done.

Photoshop and claymation. There used to be kids shows with clay people and pets on t.v. I do some post processing of my photos but I never bought Photoshop. First it was $600 and second it's way to geeky for me to figure out. Actually, PS offers more than anyone needs, you can learn what you really need and ignore the rest. Remember the old Sinbad movie? The sailors went to battle with a bunch of skeletons on the island. I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I learned how to draw little action figures on the bottom of the pages in a book and then thumb the pages to make a five second action movie (usually someone falling off a cliff or such). The stuff on giant bill boards today is beyond anything I understand.
