Use to be able to buy a "Clip Slot" adapter for standard bolt actions?

Was able to purchase through "Champion Shooters" think they were made by "Mo's"???

Any still available?

Looking for a M70 action.

Thanks.

Not aware of such a device. Have seen M-70 rifles where the receiver was set up w/ the necessary slots for clip loading. If the adapter does not turn up, would seem that slots could be milled into a receiver to permit clip loading. Here is a link that may be helpful: https://rifleshooter.com/2015/02/remington-700-m40a1-m40a3-m40a5-qa-what-is-a-clip-slot-lug-slot-lugged-base/ Sincerely. bruce.

Pre-WWII Model 70s had clip slots -- mine, made in 1939 has a clip slot.

Should have remembered, there were Rem. 700's produced w/ clip slots for use in match shooting. Sincerely. bruce.

I'll see if I can find an old Brownell's catalogue; recall seeing one years ago.

Will look at my mid-60s '06 to see if it is milled. My 721/722 both are milled.

I bought one from Champion Choice at the Camp Perry Commercial row, for my m70.

Just want a second one.
