Put these together in the last year and thought I might share my idea of a decent sniper rifle system. Whatta Hobby!

What kind of groups are you getting?

Just under .75 moa 10 rnd groups at 100yds with handloaded 150 gn Berger fb over 41.5 gn of 8208 in MEN berdan cases. I do switch around between BLC-2, RE-15, 4064, Varget and 8208 depending on my mood. All provide right about the same accuracy. I also load 115, 136 and the 150 gn flat based bullets for the same effect. Whatta Hobby!

Very nice rig. The M14 was my favorite weapon, but they took it and gave me an M16, the Plastic Fantastic. I qualified with the M14.

Me too. 1966 PI qualified the first time with M14. Taken away in late 1967 and given an M16 for 3 weeks then they got junked and I ended up with an M3 and a 1911 till I went back CONUS in Nov. 1968. Never did get to see an M16 that actually worked.
