Priming tools

Since my right hand has taken some time off for healing, I have been listening to guys recommendations for other types of priming tools. So far the Forster seems to be well made, smoother and does not require any additional shell holders. The RCBS is rugged but involves more movements to prime. The Lee is not bad, but a little flimsy for my liking. I want to do a few hundred more priming operations before I make a decision which I like best. Going to be very hard to beat the RCBS universal hand primer for overall ease of operations. Whatta Hobby!

I use the table mounted RCBS , and agree, it is just about the best way,

once you get a good rhythm going, that tube will empty in no time,

Pretty sure I will be able to use the universal on the right once my hand is healed. Of the others, I like the Forster best for is smooth operation and rugged construction. The Lee just looks and feels cheap.

I kinda do too. Took me 50 years of using a couple of Rock Chuckers to see the light. Whatta Hobby!

I use a Lee auto-prime for pistol cartridges and the RCBS bench prime for rifle cartridges.

I use the Lee bench setup. After several hundred rounds it still works just fine.

Funny this comes up just now . . . .
Just for ?shiets and giggles?, I broke out my old RCBS bench tool (like the one on the left in your photo).

Also, just remembered why I stored it away!!

Far too many movements required to prime only ONE case!

Went back to my better tool.
