New mfg stick with checkmate and Springfield Armory.
I did manage to find some decent mags over a year ago, a bulk lot of Polytech and some Taiwanese surplus mags. No issues with any of those except cleaning old hardened cosmoline off of a bunch of them. Don't waste your time with others and watch out for counterfet marked Winchester mags. I got stuck with some of those.

Check Mate makes Springfield mags and doubles the price.
It helps to be lucky and you need to shop in old pawn shops. You can recognize a old one when he has 70 year old stuff he has been trying to sell. I walked into one in a little town (Pop. 2,200).
There was a glass display and there were 5 U.S. M14, 20 rd, magazines that looked dusty but otherwise pristine.
I asked the owner, What do those fit?
He said do not know. They are $20 each? But if you want them all I'll take $60.
Lucky!
