Authentic Pre 1986 U.S. Navy UDT/ Seal uniform insignia badge. It's made by Wolfe Brown (Wolfe Brown was a Los Angeles, CA based company that went out of business in the mid 80?s). No issues - the pin posts are straight and complete. There's no heavy wear - I'd grade it conservatively a 9.0/10 . These original UDT/Seal Trident badges rarely surface and this badge is in exceptional condition as shown.

This badge is sold with the former Navy owners Service medal bar, hat devise and a few of his navel service uniform button as a complete set. I will not break up this set.

Priced at $375.00 plus $11.00 shipping with a three (3) day inspection period.

Please ask for any additional photos as needed. U.S. sales only!!

Would be interesting to know retired Senior Chief and Navy SEAL Don Shipley's thoughts regarding this sale......

I would be honored to sell this badge to Mr. Shipley or any other SEAL that may want to purchase a "back up Trident" and get this unit "off the street".

My only issue is that the ribbon rack displayed is that of a WWII and Korean War vet and one who served prior to January 1, 1961 as evidenced by the absence of a bronze star upon the National Defense Service Medal (ribbon) whilst the Special Warfare (SEAL) insignia wasn't established until October 16, 1970. That being said, it's questionable these two items were worn by the same individual. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken. By the way, the ribbon rack is in an upside-down position and those SEAL pins can be purchased at any Navy uniform shop and even on EBay.
