For those of you who like CO2's. At least it is a 50 year old break from the .17 and .22 pistols.

Gun is fairly new~ Umarex mfg.

What is not seen in the video is the shooter compensating for the rapidly cooling C/O-2, which I am not very good at. Still fun to try rapid fire with the old stinker gas, regardless of caliber.

I bought the Remington 1875 CO2 mainly because it looks really neat
It too is listed at 450 fps but for defence I've better choices.
That thing looks like fun but I always question their accuracy claims.

It's not meant to take the place of a gun. Pellet guns have their limits. As the article states, this would be a good alternative for someone who does not own, can not own, or wishes to not have a real gun. They would be better than nothing for defense in crowded apartment living where the sound of a gun gets everyone all excited.

They would also be good in countries like England where guns are outlawed and those that use them to fight off an intruder are arrested.

The downside I would suspect is that blowing out 1/2" projectiles would diminish the pressure in the CO2 cylinders fairly quickly. That may be covered in the article but at 25 minutes long I could have missed that.
