Dense fog here this morning which made it seem very peaceful to me. Flop Ears took advantage of it to run ahead of me, but since she didn't find anything stinky and roll on it, we're good. Got lawn work done for a change. Wifey wants to sweep off all the black walnut rind where squills peel them in the driveway... I try to convince her to wait a few weeks as the tree is still loaded with them.

Furry little knot-heads have been busily carrying them over to all the neighbors to bury. It's funny. If people didn't mow, we'd by living in a black walnut grove! But I'm at peace with tree rats and don't mess with them. Although it would be funny to tack a water balloon on the walnut tree and smear peanut butter on the bottom. Squill shower!

Business as usual for a small town. Drove by the gro at 0545... the place opens at 0600, and the early morning coffee drinkers and lie swappers were already lined up to get in. You show up 15 minutes late, you miss all the good lies!

No plans here other than a little writing... and serious goofing off! SW

The name of the game I would imagine is who tells the best lies.

Had a bit of a day with a long ride to the furthest from me camera shop.
Zip in the way of manual focus glass which is still o.k.

Did finally find some chartreuse rubber shads to entice the walleye. I got the last 7 pack of 3 inchers in the store.

I'd like to get some fishing time in soon- maybe tomorrow if the weather co-operates.

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

good weekend,

long, but good,

was packing up this afternoon and walked back in the building to get another load and there was a bit of a ruckus on the other side of the hall,

seems some youth thought shoplifting was easy,

got caught, tried to run and ended up catching a beatdown before the cops showed up,

he was apparently arrested,

no one else seemed to be escorted away,

Hopefully it was a beatdown he won't forget! SW

I wouldn't think that shop lifting/stealing would be a good idea at a gun show.

Shoplifting at a gun show "because all dem gunz is tie wrapped & so I'se safe" school of pilfery!
BRILLIANT! :eusa_wall:

In my neck of the woods most gun show vendors and gun shop owners wear a loaded pistol. Partly for advertisement. Partly for "do you feel lucky today punk? Well, do you?"

technically, we are not allowed to carry, due to the insurance coverage for the promotor,

techincally,

and anyone open carrying has the mag out and gun tied to keep the peace,

however, concealed is concealed
