The first video player I had was a Betamax, but that
system was ousted by the new VHS system, which
was in turn ousted by the new DVD system, which
was partly replaced by the new Blue-Ray system.
Between all these came the Lazer Disc system which
had a relatively short life. Now it looks as though the
latest Blue -Ray discs are on the long road leading to
extinction.
I no longer have a Betamax although I still have about
a 100 tapes somewhere in a box, but I still have my VHS,
DVD, Blue-Ray & Lazer players. People are quick to dump
their present system in favor of the latest fad. That's
when I buy them for a few dollars.
