I can relate to this. I think of my old 1990 Silverado farm truck as being a 20 year old truck when it is going on 34. The cc and power windows still work. Would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

I'm planing to start refurbishing my 99 Cheyenne this spring. I can handle everything except the body work. Completely redone those trucks are bring $25,ooo around my area. Although as much as the wife wants me to, I'll never sell it.
