Anyone got a link to removing the bolt cover from the bolt body, please.
TIA.

Don't know if this will help or not. There isn't much info available. The 1st one is for putting it back on.

Excellent, thank you. That about covers it!
A fellow enthusiast has just gotten a Lee Speed & is going to give it a birthday after its been stored for may years & he describes the bolt/cover interface as "filthy", even though the rest of the rifle is in good condition.
In the event of someone finding this post years from now with the same question:

"There is a lip at the rear of the dust cover that rides in a notch in the bolt body. Pry the lip out of the notch and slide the cover to the rear.

To avoid scratching the bolt and cover, I shaped a small piece of hardwood that fits between the bolt and the cover, with enough taper to lift the cover out of the slot (the area next to the bolt handle) when the piece of wood is gently tapped into this area. With the wood holding the cover up and out of the slot, gently tap on the front lip of the cover, sliding the cover towards the bolt handle. It might come right off, or you might have to soak the cover/bolt joints in Kroil, to aid in freeing the cover. This takes a lot longer to type than actually removing the cover.
I always put a little grease in the bolt slots when I install the cover again, to aid in it's next removal"

Once apart I'd hose it all with some aerosol non-chlorinated brake cleaner, from the unscrewed bolt head end, then stand it cocking piece down on a bunch of old rags or newsprint, repeat as needed.
