This week's hit on Brian Thomson the CEO of United Healthcare - the gunman must have been reading those Jack Reacher novels. He's on cameras everywhere. The man came in on a Greyhound on 11/24 and has been using a fake ID. Stayed at a "hostel" near the Port Authority bus station. Knew his mark was gonna show up for an investors' meeting at the Midtown Hilton, rode a bike there from the Hostel that day (12/5) at 5:30 AM and waited in the general area. he was wearing a mask and a hooded coat, generic clothing. When he saw Thomson coming to enter the hotel, he followed him, got close and shot him from behind. He had the bicycle nearby and used that to get away from the scene fast - ditched the bike and his backpack, walked through Central Park and caught a cab to another bus station near the George Washington Bridge. Camera sees him enter the station, no picture of him leaving.

A super fine point writes as fine as a ball point.

“Following Thompson's murder, markers showed the location of the shell casings. Sources say a Sharpie was used to meticulously write on the bullets.”

Just like DB Cooper was a "NEW" type hijacking, this was a "new" type assination. That is not to say they won't catch him. Just captures the imagination.

Sleeping with the fishes just like the couple who murdered Seth Rich.

This was strange before but now?
“Peculiarer & Peculierer said Alice”!

The gray backpack linked to the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, which authorities found dumped in Central Park, has reportedly yielded a jacket, and some Monopoly money, but no gun.
The backpack, which was found in Central Park West on Friday, contained a jacket, according to Bloomberg. NBC News reported Saturday that Monopoly money was also found in the backpack.
The new information came as authorities began to wrap up day four of the hunt for Thompson's assassin. The businessman was shot with a suppressed pistol at around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel.

If they get him it will probably be through a DNA search. He should have stuck with the bicycle - the cabbie's camera got a pretty decent picture of him.

Assuming that he is caught, it will be interesting to know if he or his family were victims of the insurance company's policy of rejecting about 30% of claims.

the news media appears to have TWO different people, one of them has a STRAIGHT nose and the other a SKIJUMP type nose (for lack of better terminology). also, the back packs and staps changed colors.
I think the guy was on a gov't HIT list. He was going to RAT out big pharma and the gov't and he "had to go".
The patsy (shooter) might get away till he tries to collect his "pay off"

Pretty sloppy for a pro hit if you ask me.

I don't think it was a professional hit. I think the guy read some Jack Reacher novels///

Well they got him. Arrested in Altoona PA by a rookie police officer.

He had a bone to pick no doubt. At least he singled out his intended target.
Didn’t walk into a facility and shoot dozens. No bomb. No poisons.

However this may turn out to be a setback for 3D printers.

This is just hear-say and may not be true but I've heard that the UHC CEO that was killed was set to testify against Nancy Pelosi for insider trading.

This may not be entirely true. I'm not trying to stir the pot but posted this in case any of you heard the same. It's certainly believable.

Whack-a-doodle from a hippie surfing commune in Hawaii.
Busted by a call in at a mickey D's in Altoona Pa.
If this was a Pro hit I'm Donald Duck

The cabbie got a pretty good picture of him. No DNA search needed. All it took was one person at McDonalds who was looking around instead of at their phone. And the guy hung onto the gun so ballistics can do a workup on it.
