View Full Version : Whales spotted in the Gulf
Right whales (whatever that is) were spotted in the gulf. Normally these guys hang out in the North Atlantic. Perhaps with re-naming the gulf as Gulf of America they felt it was safe to come here now?

so, if there are Right Whales, are there Left Whales? or Wrong Whales?
inquiring minds
The Left whales all went to foreign countries because Trump won the election (at least THEY kept their promise).
I donno about the Wrong whales. Maybe they're the one's who beach themselves (whales in wrong place).

Right Whales were so named because they were the easiest to catch & could be harvested to the highest extent back in The Nantucket Sleigh ride days.

Thanks for the info.
They should have caught the Wrong whales though---they were already on the beach. It would have been even easier.

Seems to me the Right Whales took a wrong turn and ended up on the left side of the state.
That, or they’re on a Florida vacation?

In the last few years there have been problems with right whales getting killed by ships in the Gulf of St Lawrence and the St Lawrence River. I don't think that anybody had heard of them before they started to turn up dead there
As an aside, I am going to propose to the next Canadian Government (hopefully in a couple of months when we have an election) that we should follow Trump's example and rename it the "Gulf of Canada"
