You got that right about package deals. As for the M-42 mount, seriously, no. I really wouldn't have bothered if it weren't for the Tamron lens. Bit of a lemon with a seized battery cover and crumbling mirror cushion. The 50 F2 super Takumar on the camera is nice enough, but not anything special to one with no native digital mount. Slight bit of oil on the aperture blades. Trading/gift fodder at best.....

What caliber is the 1910?

Scored a mini bayonet/letter opener. The kids like to play around with whatever blade I have on the dining room table for use as a letter opener. This should be a bit safer with the scabbard. (full size bayonet shown for size perspective) SW

Which would make for an interesting rifle! Looks pretty real with the milled cut-out slot.
Kinda curious exactly what you got there-possibly a salesman's sample?

These were a common item during the imperial period and just into WW2. Certain companies bought them in quantity for use as gifts to customers. In addition to the mini bayonets, there were also mini daggers also used for gifts and awards. The seller lists a mini Luftwaffe dagger for over $1000 and mini SS daggers for a little less.
I enjoy swords and dress/engraved bayonets - daggers not so much. SW

Meanwhile, from Germany I scored this lot of RR medals and awards for 34 EUD. Next move will be to grab a shadow box for the grouping. I have a few other Euro RR items to display with them. SW

I was in a hobby store getting paint for model kits and saw an animated spider... for only a fiver. Runs on a hearing aid battery. Prank time! Severely scared wifey and older daughter. I'll prank older granddaughter and let her take it home. Best $5 I've wasted in a long time! SW

You did well, esp considering a cheese burger, fries and soda will now seriously dent a ten-spot.
Could be a post-halloween clearance item too.
I'd be wearing a cast iron skillet for a permanent and final hat if I tried pulling that around here. :icon_e_surprised::icon_wink::icon_wink:

I had been wanting one of these since the late 70's, and could never afford one.
Definitely different tech from the big "N" for the time period.
It is all internal focusing. With this mechanism, nothing on the exterior of the lens moves, or rotates.

One of the first serious attempts at using the new to me lens.
I was a bit flush from the sale of the Spotmatic and the Tamron 200mm. There was enough there to buy the nikkor, renew my d/l, and get a samwhich and a medium coffee. so I'm likely ahead a bit. The KEH buyer sez there's quite a niche underground market for anything spotty, or M-42 mount. I did definitely come out a bit ahead. :icon_wink:
