    Default Yakety Sax

Something I ran across while surfing YouTube. Old video of Boots Randolph (who co-wrote Yakety Sax), Chet Atkins, and Floyd Cramer on the piano.

This may borderline with Lawrence Welk type crap but for many of us it's what we grew up with. This is from 1965 and the song was very popular back then. A version of this song was used as the theme song for Benny Hill.

Note how much the Gretsch guitar sounds like the sax. Chet Atkins later played this alone and it was called Yakety Axe.

    Headphones a plus.

I remember 2 Benny Hill sketchs:

Great white hunter known as "shootem between the eyes", was killed tonight by two one eyed tigers" and

"an electrician for the Miss World Contest fell from the ceiling while stringing lights. It is said he is resting comfortably on Miss Sweden and Miss Italy.

    You gotta remember Benny Hill...
