Dang if Dick wasn't right
So back along there was a discussion about handguards, more specifically, repro handguards.
Dick mentioned shopping for an original as opposed to a repro. I've used 6 or 7 repros in the last 4 years or so. I started shopping for the real deal, got an original 1901 handguard and got one for no more than 9 dollars than a repro would cost me.
Fantastic. the rifle is in a whole new ballpark, looks way better than it did.
