Pretty common in post war Germany. Piles and piles of most every weapon the Germans used. Now you know where all those "bring backs" came from.

That's a LOT of Mausers. Norway really cost the Wehrmacht in terms of occupation resources. The resistance opened up on the Germans before they even got off the boat. Like invading the USSR, another of Hitlers mistakes.

They invaded Norway because the Brits were going there, had already landed some troops. It would have cut off their supply of Swed. steel shipped overland to ports in east Norway.
