    So Major Tom Has the rifle sold? I do see some good prices being obtained at auctions. Also post to get rid of the dead site header that I think discourages further posts.

    Friend of mine bought it right after it was listed. Luger collector but likes other high condition collector pieces.

    Heck, I’ve got one of my three remaining 1868 dated 1868 trapdoor’s priced at only $2,950.00 now on Gunsinternational!
    Serial #93.
    I can’t go any lower.

    My trapdoor sold at Simpsons LLC for $3200.00. Simpsons gets 20%. I really did not think it would sell at that price, but it did.
    johnny P, did your friend by mine? I would like to exchange emails with him. I also am a Luger guy.

    There's "nice" and then there's "mint". The last few percentages almost double the price. You can still find a VERY "nice" example in the $1500 range. Don't give up!

    Yes, that's who I bought that trapdoor from. His price was $1400.
