My one do it all .38 Special load is one I took note of from Skeeter Skelton. It is any kind of .38 brass primed with any decent domestic SP primer, loaded with 5.0 grains of Unique pistol powder and topped off with a 158 - 160 grain cast lead semi-wadcutter flat nosed bullet. This one load has for me proven ideal for all my .38 and .357 revolvers. If I anticipate the need for more power, then I load up some .357 Magnums. For the overwhelming vast majority of shooting, this full power service level load has been more than sufficient. Sincerely. bruce.
