Johnny Fever on the old WKRP in Cincinnati episodes once said "Christmas time, a time for good cheer and bad music".

And bad TV. If I never see "It's a Wonderful Life" it'll be too soon.

My two favorites are 'Christmas in Connecticut" and "The Bishops Wife".

My wife watches Hallmark chick flick Christmas shows year round. This being July they are numerous now.

I watch TV in the bedroom these days with the CC on to get away from them. My quiet little world.

Marching band I'm in we get into the Christmas music some time in December. You'd be surprised how many outdoor gigs there are that time of year, I like some of the music - Santa Baby, God Rest you Merry Gentlemen, there's a medley of Joy to the World and Jeremiah the Bullfrog ... I'm a first trumpet, we carry most of the melody and a lot of it is above the staff. Cold weather is NOT kind to your chops.
