    Default Sig Sauer 1911-22

I own one of these pistols and it is a fine gun. I disassembled mine to deep clean it and now I cannot get it back together! Having problem with back strap to grip safety fit and left safety fit and hammer fit. I think I need a gunsmith's help? Anyone here can offer help?

I learned a long time ago that unless a weapon is really caked with old powder or grime to just remove the easy to remove parts such as the slide, grips, mag, then spray with carb cleaner and your choice of gun lubricant.

Not familiar with the 1911-22's so much but ran across this. See if this helps. It is short and just covers the frame parts.

Another cleaning solution if your parts will fit.

I have since put this pistol in cold storage until I can see a gunsmith. Thanks to all for your input.

I contacted Sig Sauer about repair. They charge $55 to look at it plus repair/replacement parts.
    Anyone had dealings with them?
