    Default ROSCOE 38 special +p

    anybody own of the these?
    does it work?
is it worth the dough for a "truck gun"?
I won't ask if you'd bet your life on it unless you've put 500-1000 rounds through it with NO troubles!

Lots of YouTube reviews available. Many are by regular folk rather than YouTubers generating content. Have read some reviews. Have viewed a number of the YouTube videos. Got to admit, have been thinking hard about getting one. If they ever bring one out in .327 Magnum, they are going to sell a boat load. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

Except for the absence of the ejector rod latch under the barrel they appear to be a copy of the earlier "J" frame S&W's, Rossi's and Taurus 85's. I would assume the internal parts would be similar. Construction (if I read correctly) is all steel.

I don't own one but for $300+/- I would say it's worth the gamble.

My 2 cents worth though, and only my 2 cents is that I prefer SS. My area is very high humidity and even a stainless gun will rust if not stored well enough. I carried one of my SS revolvers loose under the seat of my old farm truck thinking it would not rust and always be there if needed. After about 6 months it had developed some surface rust so my theory of a "truck gun" disappeared.
