    Battle for Sevastopol

    Caught this Russian-made film late last night. Streamed it free from Amazon. About the WWII Ukrainian female sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko. Had some 309 kills using both a M1891 Mosin Nagant and an SVT. It helps if you can speak some Russian, but still enjoyable with subtitles. Of course, there is a romantic side story in this film, but not so much as to distract from the film's real purpose - propaganda. She was a goldmine in this respect. See trailer here:
