Well, it's by Mark Bowdon, so you'd expect the writing to be pretty good, and it is.
I thought his previous Blackhawk Down and Killing Pablo were pretty good, but this exceeds those efforts.
Pretty scary stuff in those days; I think Bowdon did it justice. I have a fairly short list of Viet Nam titles that I recommend to folks, and added this to the list.
