This is a solid 9-42 SA M-1 barrel with the barrel date rolled "upside down" as it should be. A hard to find barrel date that would make a nice representative restoration bbl for an Aug-Oct 42 dated rifle that you can shoot occasionally. It is in exc condition on the outside and the bore is bright and shiny. Muzzle wear was measured at 5 and TE at 4.5, not new but very shootable. The barrel has been through rework and has a chromed gas port. Please see photos attached.
