I’ve decided to part with this gorgeous 1954 production Springfield. I bought it from the CMP North Store in 2008 as a rack grade and will include the original certificate. All parts appear correct and the rifle is just how I got it from the CMP. 10-54 dated barrel with sharp bore and clean crown. TE is 2.5. I don’t have a gauge to measure the ME right now, but I believe it is 1.5. I took tons of pictures so reference those for all part markings. Rifle includes an M10 cleaning kit and an original 1955 dated sling. Since original purchase I’ve put about 500rds through it. Exceedingly accurate is an understatement! The rifle is near new in both fit and finish. The stock has tons of lock up and has always been stored with the trigger guard unlatched. $1500 plus shipping. The rifle will ship in a CMP hard case.
