SN 21,793. Production date Oct 1895. Has 1896 sight and 1896 cartouched stock. Bore has strong lands and grooves but is not shiney but is not a sewer pipe either. Shows some pitting near muzzle. The stock has a few age cracks and I have photoed them. Nothing major but want you to know they are there. I have not shot this rifle but I was told the previous owner did. Has 1894 receiver roll mark as shown in one of the photos. This was near the end of the Model 1892 production before changing to the model 1896. Good honest example of an early US Krag.
