This is a website that offers items for sale from cities, police depts, schools, and certain businesses. These are mostly used and/or surplus items. I have bought things from this site offered by nearby towns.
Whoever bought these trees will have to store them a year before putting them to use since the auction ended shortly before Christmas. If you can view all the pictures you'll notice that these trees take up a LOT of storage space, will require assembly and take-down. They cost the city $36K ea when new. Auction was for 2 complete trees and remains from a 3rd tree.

A good buy for someone I guess but definitely not for me.
