and also the Hollywood star. So much hate! At least no one got injured...I know these are minor incidences but I hope this hate does not show a trend and doesn't escalate to were someone really gets hurt.

Any retort on your part is now a crime. How did they corner the market on expression? Go figure. Only thing I can come up with are too many ultra-liberals in high places. How? A combination of stupendous self-righteousness & effrontery. They have simply expropriated the word "love" in the same way faggots expropriated "gay." "Love" is prominently displayed on most of the signs of the people who hate Trump & his supporters so bitterly they'll drive half-way across the country to protest.
Don't know if it's a local phenomenon, or something broader, but about a year ago I began seeing roadside signs put up usually in front of houses, but sometimes at intersections, with the single word "love" in garish, rainbow, colors. They're all the same & measure about 2' square. Can be no doubt of the symbolism--the people putting them up aren't merely endorsing "love," they're an expression of opposition to Trump, because to have love in your heart has to mean (they would say) that you HATE Trump! The ones I run across that aren't in some FAH's front yard get disappeared.Comment

I see all kinds of fruity-tootie signs all the time. It's a trend but not a very tightly knit one. Just a lot of pussified people roaring.
In Chicago they plan to have a "peaceful anti-violence' march on the north side this evening. Calling attention to problems in inner-$hitcago that supposedly those on the north side aren't aware of. BS! Everyone knows! They ran down their neighborhoods, they fault everyone but their family and neighbors who are committing the crimes. The question is, do we care? Why should anyone care if they don't?
Shut down Lake Shore Drive and block tonights game at Wrigley Field. Clog the roads and businesses. Yeah...they plan on making friends at rush hour. Let's see just how "anti violent" they really are when they interrupt tens of thousands of lives. Protesting violence in one of the least violent parts of town. A part of town where they don't shoot at each other on sight. A part of town where many people still talk to the patrolmen.
As stupid as it is the politicos and top cops are catering to them. The media is giving them the sweetheart treatment. If you have a nice car or truck, it may be best to not put a Trump sticker on it.
Fact is, you can't express an opinion if it's different from the liberal one without
putting yourself in harms way.

About 30 years ago in Virginia, there was an all-powerful State Senator. He was from the Eastern Shore, and if you went over there with a bumper sticker for his opponent, you better keep moving. If you parked your car and went into a restaurant, for example, when you came out, your tires would be slashed and your windows broken. His district stretched across the Bay, and included York County, where I was a member of the Republican Committee.
There was an election pending, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving were pushing to lower the Blood Alcohol Content limit to .08. And he publicly said, "Why, if we do that, it'll take all the fun out of drinkin' and drivin'." You can imagine how MADD reacted!
On Election Day, it was my job to go from polling place to polling place to be sure our people were in place and had everything they needed. As I approached the first polling place, early in the morning, I was greeted by some fresh-faced college kids campaigning for the Democrats, who handed me a push card for this State Senator. I dropped it on the ground, looked the kid in the eye and said, "My daughter was killed by a drunk driver!" and went around him and into the polling place.
When I came back out, the Democrats had folded up their table and taken their push cards and vanished!
I did that at every polling place, the State Senator was NOT re-elected. :-)Comment
