Coca-Cola Slammed for Alleged Try to Be Less White’ Staff Training

UK party leader Farage Slams Coca-Cola for Alleged Try to Be Less White’ Staff Training as the UK party leader has slammed Coca-Cola for allegedly requiring staff to take training urging them to “be less white”.

One explains that “To be less white is to: be less oppressive, be less arrogant, be less certain, be less defensive, be less ignorant, be more humble, listen, believe, break with apathy, break with white solidarity.” Another simply urges the view: “Try to be less white.”

And a remark from a viewer in the remark section of the article that I thought it was to the point.... It said that "From now on, I will try to be less White!. ...You know. Less successful, More dependent, More resentful, More angry"

Slides from the LinkedIn-based training originally circulated on social media after being shared by psychologist Karlyn Borysenko

I wonder if Farage knows that Sprite (owned by Coca Cola) is the black lemon-lime soda, as compared to 7-up, which is for white people.

Funny thing is.... nobody knows why!!!

Farage is a UK hybrid of say Ted Cruz and Rudy Giuliani, in his ability to say stupid things and make people hate him. My advice to Ray would be...if he offers you cheese, don't take it!

all the years I have worked in the grocery biz and never had anyone tell me Sprite was black and 7up was white,

      interesting,

guess this guy did not know

BTW,, Coke US has been in the forefront for hiring minorities for a long long time, esp at the corporate district level,

Pepsi as well, at least locally

my wife took some classes years ago with a woman that was promoted up the ranks in Pepsi HR,, she told folks in class she was not going to hire white folks whenever possible

      this was 25+ yrs ago

Farage is looking for topics with which to distract people away from say the pain of Brexit, which he promised to be an easy win and which has turned out to be anything but. Why you get distracted by him....beyond me.

According to this writer Sprite started associating with hip-hop etc in the 1980s.

Just opened up my can of Coke and it is definitely not white! Less aggressive, shake one up and see how fast it wants out of the can!

courting and being the chose flavor of a demographic are not the same,

some folks are either Coke or Pepsi,

some drink whichever is on sale,

7up, Dr Pepper and some others are the outsiders, and usually contract brewed,

they don't usually have the marketing power that Coke and Pepsi enjoy

eta,, most retailers carry it all,

however a fountain drink machine will typically be Coke,, or Pepsi, rarely will one carry both

Your smart, we're dumb. We can't possible get smart so you have to act dumb to make us feel better.

Coke v. Pepsi....given a choice I will drink Pepsi, but I do try to watch colas in particular, soda in general.

Have had a couple of kidney stones over the years and phosphoric acid in colas can increase chances of them forming. Learned to stay hydrated, and a shot of lemon or lime juice (citric acid) in the water helps.

                    depends on the stone,
mine are Calcium based, so the soda's are a no, Tea is supposed to be a no, (I still drink Tea) and lemon/orange/grapefruit juice help smooth them out,

passed the 10th big on last year, about due for another (mine seem to run in 2 yr cycles, and rarely hurt anymore)

but the last MRI my Uro did had my kidney's looking like Gravel Pits,,

                      Oh man, sympathies!

My two were 20 years apart, but I think maybe some mini-stones on that same side, off and on. The 2019 stone did have the 10/10ths pain for a few hours a couple of times. Eventually passed the bugger (5mm).

biggest looked like a grain of rice(long grain, ) with teeth on the end,

longest to pass shook loose in May,, and after considerable on and off discomfort, passed (with the help of a mini keg of Two Hearted Ale) in Oct,

I have found that stamping my feet help settle them when they hurt,

tho, the last one I felt nothing, and it was about 3mm, the one before was about the same size and felt like someone had hit me in the back, both were relatively smooth (thanks to the juice)

There are alternatives to Coca-Cola. Hmm, back in the Bad Old Days were other people urged to be "less black"?
