2 Bristol officers shot and killed in Connecticut, another seriously injured

This is a reminder to all on how dangerous police work is! Too many times an officer walks out the door to go to work just like many other folks do, but in too many cases they don't return home!

All three officers were members of the Bristol Police Department. Bristol Police Chief Brian Gould identified the fallen officers as Sgt. Dustin Demonte, 35, and deputy Alex Hamzy, 34, in a Thursday morning press conference.
