These days Jury Awards for the slightest affront to a person's
sensibilities - like an accidental racist remark - are up in the
double digit millions. These awards are way past what could
be called reasonable, and are in turn inviting lawsuits for such
things as being fired, no matter the reason, or for not being
invited to the company picnic, or for being told that wearing
a bikini to Court is not suitable attire. Deliberately provoking
an affront might get you a multi million dollar payout, so why
not try your luck as you'd probably stand a better chance of
becoming rich with a lawsuit than you would with the lottery.
