After rummaging through my fairly sizable lot of parts, am down to ONE thing that I lack for my M1882TRB project - that being a model 1879 lower band with large "U". Am not using a fat barrel so M1870 band won't work.
I'd prefer to trade straight across (or with a little 'boot' either way) for a Buffington band of which I have several, but would buy outright if need be. Al, Granpas, and S&S seem to be out, nothing currently on Ebay either.
