Early Remington 1911 a1

There is a 1944 Remington 1911a1 for sale on M14 forum. Looks Ok from what I can see. This is NOT my pistol. He is asking 1750 shipped.

This doesn't tell us much. $1750 is about the going rate for a nice correct Remington Rand that has not been refinished. There are several on GunBroker.com right now for a comparison to what you saw for sale. W/O many detailed pictures there's not much else we can tell you if you're asking for advice.
