Trying to get a ballpark estimate on value on a 1924 1911?

Hi, I am trying to get an estimated value on a 1911 that is for sale here locally. I have a few more photos but this is all it would let me upload at once.

Enjoy your site and thanks in advance for any possible advice!

I would post this on 1911forum. Check slide if serial # matches. Pull firing pin plate. If a match, could be 2500+

There will be no serial number under the firing pin stop plate. Knowing if barrel is correct makes a bit of difference.

          Boneyard,

We need to see more of the right side. It does look like a nice early Transition. It is difficult to find a correct barrel for these,---if it has it's barrel, it would be nice to have it (for even twice the last estimate)!

          Best Regards,
