    1945 Colt M1911A1

    I am in the process of buying a 1945 Colt M1911A1 Serial #2252010. Can someone please give me a born date and shipping info on it? I think it is part of the last batch of Colt's made for WWII. Thanks!

      Shipped between Jan. 29 and Feb. 12, 1945 to Springfield Armory. Last shipment of Colts was in September of 1945.
